My A Level (high school) computing coursework involved designing and building an employee and membership management system for a pastoral organization in my city. Prior to this they were using a manual paper based system.

This involved an investigation and analysis stage with questionnaires and interviews to understand the requirements of the organization. Possible solutions were explored and feasibility studies were carried out.

This was followed by a design stage where I created a design specification and a design for the system.

The next stage was the implementation stage where I built the system using VB.NET and Windows Forms. Access was used as the database to store the different records.

Extensive testing was performed to ensure the system was working as intended.

Finally, documentation was created to help the users of the system and future maintainers.

The project is not particularly relevant because of the limited skills I had at the time but it showcases my ability to learn quickly and my enthusiasm towards developing solutions.
